Ernst Hedinger Senior starts to build up E. Hedinger AG as a recognized specialist for any electromechanical work for any motor and or car. He also starts his own rewinding operation with local specialists.

Hedinger Aircraft Components AG was founded and received the EASA and TCCA approvals. In 1984 the FAA approval was added.

Hedinger Tech AG (formerly E. Hedinger AG) and Hedinger MRO AG (formerly Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd) are bought by a Swiss individual, René Mueller, who took over the facility and all employees. The companies were renamed and several distribution and or agency agreements have been added since.

In August 2013, Hedinger Tech AG won the public tender in the area of ​​»passenger flow and waiting time measurement» at Vienna Airport against all global competitors with products from Xovis AG Switzerland. The colaboration with Xovis AG has been growing since then, including 25 airports at the security check points in Aena.

Hedinger MRO opens a completely new, state of the art, wheels & Brakes Shop, including NDT (Non Destructive Testing) for all 4 inspection techniques (ET, PT, MT and UT) with it’s own personnel (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3), including a Paintshop. We now execute repair and complex Overhaul (OH). See our Capability List for details.

As FOCA approved us for these mechanical works, we are now in Electromechanical and Mechanical Parts! We continue to provide rewinding with all approvals necessary.

In March 2023 we received the UK CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) Approval.
