Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd, Wattwil, Switzerland reports the appointment of Michael Ruecker as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of 01.01.2015.

 

Michael adds some 35 years Aviation industry experience gained while heading lately FAI Technik GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany as Commercial Director and Accountable Manager and Jet Aviation's subsidiary in Dubai as Senior Vice President and Accountable Manager as well as the RUAG Swiss ASN as General Manager just to name his latest activities. Michael started his career in Aviation in 1980 when he first joined Jet Aviation Basel and has served the industry in various senior management positions ever since.

September. E. Hedinger AG has taken over the official Volkswagen partnership for the Toggenburg area.

In August, Hedinger wins the first large contract in Europe against all global competitors in the area of „Passenger Flow Analysis and Waiting Time Measurements” with the Xovis Products, made in Switzerland. Implementation happens between August 2013 and beginning of 2014.

 

As of 2st June, Hedinger takes over as well the Distribution Rights for the Danish Company “Logitrans”, a European leading company in the area of material handling equipment. Hedinger has now completed the portfolio in the area of Intra Logistics electrical goods handling and transport systems from anything from 25kg up to 70.000kg.

 

Hedinger has founded a new company in the Middle East: HEDINGER MIDDLE EAST DWC LLC.

The new office in Dubai shows our customer our long term commitment to this market. For our high tech sensor business, we will be offering a perfect combination of senior local employees with extensive knowledge in the Airports market, that offer Project Management, Marketing, Maintenance and Service.

E. Hedinger AG takes over the general distributorship for "bAKA"; the German producer and Number 1 in Europe for tailor made industrial fork lifts and electrical 4 way side forklifts; moving anything from 500 kg to 70 metric tons.

 

Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd. have added THE Pax Tracking Solution with Xovis PTS - person tracking system, enabling to count and measure people efficiently to avoid queues happening. Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd. has been appointed in January 2013 as the exclusive Distributor for the Middle East, and in Europe we work together on a case by case basis.

In November, E. Hedinger AG takes over the general distributorsship for "Expresso", the German producer and Number 1 in Europe for electrically powered hand trucks and transport systems; moving anything from above 25 kg to 3 metric tons.

 

In September the Hedinger Group - E. Hedinger AG and Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd. - was sold to Almar AG, owned by René Müller. He focuses on Marketing and Sales. Ernst Hedinger remains as Accountable Manager for Hedinger Aircraft Components Ltd.

Hedinger AG received the concession as JAA Base, ended the contract with Lucas/Lear Siegler and strengthened activities with APC and Auxilec.

E. Hedinger Ltd. became an official Lear Siegler Maintenance Base.

     
1981  

Based on Hedingers experience gained in the aircraft industry, FAA granted the company the certificate as an official Maintenance Base for electromechanical appliances for civil aviation.

     

1971

 

E. Hedinger was accepted as an official Maintenance Base by the FOCA Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
Seven years later the company became an official service organisation for Bosch vehicle electrics.

     

1968

 

 

 

During Winter 1967/68 it was decided, to build new premises into which the company moved in December 1969. Totally an area of 1700 m2 was built in which all special departments were accommodated.

Very soon Swissair entrusted the company E. Hedinger with subsidiary revision of electromechanical aircraft components. Those who know the rigid instructions about maintenance and service of airliners can judge the abilities of the then still very young company. It was only a short period until aircraft servicing companies and Aeroclubs were also using the services of Ernst Hedinger. As it was not possible to enlarge activities in Schlieren, Ernst Hedinger, after thorough studies, decided to move his operations to Wattwil in the canton of St.Gallen.
